I would rate Ocean Auto Brokers a negative 5 star if I could. On Dec. 1, 2010 I purchased a 2004 Honda Accord from them for over $10,000. I am a widow on disability with a teenage daughter and the sole care-giver for my elderly mother. They knew this. Obviously I need reliable transportation. Unfortunately, instead of doing my due diligence I made the mistake of trusting in their honesty & integrity and believed that the car they sold me was as good as they were presenting it to be. My mistake. The heat does not work, the power steering pump is on the way out and another mechanic discovered signs of a previous accident. None of this was disclosed to me before I signed the papers. When I complained about the heat the next day I got two different explanations: one O A salesmen told me that they ""forgot"" to tell me there was a prob with the heat and that they decided against fixing it because it would have raised the final sales price too much. Another employee told me to bring it in and leave it overnight and they would look at it and fix it. I did and when I returned the next day to pick it up I was told they replaced a bad thermostat and the heat was now working but I should refrain from moving the vents(?) I was also told someone had overfilled the power steering fluid but they drained it and while there might be an 'air bubble'(?) in the pump that would make it a little noisy there was nothing to worry about - it would not cause any problems. I still have no heat and it is increasingly loud and high-pitched when running. It was after this that I found about the previous accidents and when I called up to ask about it & to let them know I was still without heat I was told they would get back to me - which they have not. Buyer Beware: Don't buy from them!!! You too might get ripped off!
