Review content:
I used to think that I'd have to travel to Tuscany, which I am in love with, in order to get authentic Tuscan food. I have dined in many high end Italian restaurants in Atlanta, but none of them quite satisfied my palette. That's until 2 years ago for Christmas Eve ....my sister convinced me to try Antica Posta.....Result: I've been hooked ever since. I have brought many friends to Antica Posta and all of them loved it....I have celebrated my birthday, Christmas Eve, New Year's, and had business dinners at Antica Posta and never have been dissapointed. I have to admit that it can get a bit crowded on busy nights, but the price is quite minimal for what you get in return. The restaurant is cozy and it feels more like home than a business place. The food is amazing.....my favorites being the fagioli, the caprese salad, the veal sausages - for appetizers, tagliata (my no. 1), sea bass, swordfish, and the veal chop for the main course, and of course - pana cotta, torta della nonna(when they have it), and the nougat ice cream as far as dessert goes.....to be honest, I neved get bored....they have specials on their menu every time I go....so if I want to try something new.....there's always that option. As far as their wine list goes....it's endless....and I have never found high end wines so afordable.....I mean....they have my favorite wine - Tignanello at less than half the price the other restaurants have it...I always know that they have the best wines at the best prices. As far as service goes.....I don't know why the other individuals who write reviews are so full of hate.....that ""brunette with accent"" is one of my favorites....all the staff is very professional and attentive....they have always treated me, my family, and my friends with respect and friendliness. If you think about it....why would it be so busy, if it were such a bad place? I continue to love Antica Posta for its food, wine(especially), and of course.....the service. I will always be a regular! Pros: Excellent food, the best wine list ever, and flawless service Cons: it can get crowded....but hey, it's a busy place
