Review content:
My wife and I went to NoRTH after some rushed XMas shopping, the kind where your feet hurt. NoRTH is a nice little restaurant with and excellent and for Austin untypical broad assortment of Italian and French wines for a fairly good price. Normally I don't like chain restaurants, but NoRTH has a lot to offer. The food was wonderful, my wife had the fish of the day a Amberjack topped with tuna and some nice not to heavy creamy spinach. I had the Osso Bucco with with polenta. I can only say Excellent. The waiters are very attentive (almost a little to attentive) and surprisingly know a lot about some of the not so common wine choices. So a great place to stop by after shopping for a nice dinner. The ambiance is a little new age, but surprisingly comfortable. All in all a very good experience and fairly inexpensive for all we got including a not to pricy bottle of wine.
Pros: Close to shops, sanctuary after a hard shopping day, great wine selection, service
Cons: Parking, Noise level in the restaurant
