He may or may not be the cheapest, and scheduling can be an issue... becaue he's popular and they're busy, but he's always honest, won't do work that isn't necessary, and fixes it right the first time.
I've taken a problem to him that three other shops failed to fix and he had it properly diagnosed within an hour. They are pro.
I have my parents bring down their BMW and Merced after the Chicago shops have fleeced them, and Rick fixes them properly for a fraction of the cost.
The one time a problem came back after returning from the shop we brought it back, he looked at it immediately, fixed it, he apologized for the inconvenience and didn't charge a thing (and that's one time out of the many times we've used in on a number of vehicles).
They're pro.
