Review content:
I adopted an older dog, and one month after taking her in she began to get sick and I was referred to Friendship. I have read the other reviews, and really can't believe the experiences of others, because mine was the exact opposite. The very first night I took her there when I thought we were having an emergency, they told me she was stable, and to take her home and bring her back to her scheduled app the next morning because they didn't want to charge me unnecessary costs and didn't charge me anything. From that point forward for the next 4 weeks we tried multiple treatments because she wasn't getting better, she would start to get better and then get worse again - but the entire time they were supportive and helpful and every single person I interacted with was kind and considerate. When the costs became too high, unknown to me, they nominated her for help from a memorial fund to help cover her costs which she was approved for. Ultimately we had to put her down, but even after 2 of the doctors/vet techs who had worked with her called to express condolences after they heard, and I received a card in the mail saying they made a donation in her name to the memorial fund and a very nice note from her primary vet and his assistant. I literally have a list of 10 people I plan to send individual notes of thanks to, and am so incredibly glad that she received her care there. Again, everyone seems to have different experiences, but having gotten to know so many of the people who worked there over the last 4 weeks, I have nothing but positive things to say about them.
