We went on vacation and we used a dog sitting service. It was a bad move. For everyone out there here is a suggestion - spend the money and bring your dog to a professional boarding place. Either my dog is resenting us for leaving him or the sitting service didn?t let him out. Whatever transpired the my dog used my entire house as his personal toilet. It was a complete disaster area. We have snow white carpet in or formal living room and dining rooms and light tan carpet in the rest of the house. The smell when we opened the front door would knock you down. I called Carpet cleaning Windermere out to clean the mess on a last minute effort to not have to rent a hotel for the night on our first day back. They treated more than 50 stains and had to do special sub surface pet urine treatments. They brought in a large ozone generator and lots of fans. The carpet was dry in two hours without a trace of odor or a single stain left behind.
