Review content:
I am the last guy that I thought would ever post on a blog thing about someone else, but my experience with William Adams at Edward Jones was better than most. I had heard from a neighbor that they were very pleased with their financial advisor. Naturally, I asked for his name and number. When they told me about Wil, I remembered reading his articles in The Shreveport Times in the Voices section. I had a 401(k) from an old job I needed to do something with so I went to go see him to just hear what he had to say. Now, I have no experience with investing. I have money at the bank and I put back as much as my employers match and that's it. Wil told me about the rollover process and started ""digging"" to find out more information about me and my family. He took in interest in MY family and threw out ideas of how to invest. He didn't ""tell me"" to do this and that, he gave me options and took the time to teach me a few things. After that, I was sold. He designed a plan to fit me, didn't try investing my money like everyone elses. I've had several appointments now with Wil and I trust him. I've since opened several accounts and I moved money over from the bank to one of these Louisiana tax free funds and I'm getting 6 times the interest I was at the bank - with no tax consequences. He's knowledgeable and I just like the guy. His Branch Administrator Amanda always greets my kids at the door with candy, so now they always ask me to go see ""Mr. Wil""! Like I said, I didn't think I would ever end up ""reviewing"" someone online, but I wanted people to know there is someone out there who you can trust. If you don't have a Financial Advisor or are not pleased with the one you have, I would recommend you see William Adams at Edward Jones on Stockwell Rd.
