Review content:
I brought my brand new engagement ring to them to be resized. I've never done this before, so looked to them for their expertise as jewelers. Upon their advisement they resized it to 6.25 from 7. I picked it up the next day, put it on and then later realized I couldn?t get it off. When I called them, they told me to go to the ER to have it cut off. I chose to wait to see them when they reopened the following Monday thinking the ring would be in better hands with a jeweler, not doctor. When they it cut off a pav? on the band fell out. They handed me the cut and broken ring and expected me to leave! I asked them to put the ring back together and help me find a solution to make the ring fit. The entire time they seemed utterly disinterested in helping fix the problem with the owner walking away from the conversation and refusing to talk through a solution. A few days later, handing me the ""fixed"" ring, they said I could expect the diamonds to fall out again, worried by this I took a closer look to see they had bent the millegrain, placed the pav? incorrectly and scuffed the band. I had to ask them to redo the pav? and polish the band, which they did VERY reluctantly, and then the owner had the audacity to argue with me about the whole debacle. I have since taken the ring to the original jeweler who is horrified by the damage; saying the ring looks as if it has been worn for a year. All in all I have worn the ring for 8 days in the month I've been engage. It is extremely disappointing that around such a happy time, these people not only ruined my ring but took no effort to properly advise me, or to fix their mistake or to even be gracious about the whole mess. I don't know if it is a lack of skill or professionalism or both, but be warned, they are not pleasant to work with, lack integrity and apparently aren't capable of working with fine jewelry.
