ya gotta be part of the spotlight family to really appreciate this karaoke bar. this means that you have to get to know everyone that is a part of the establishment, like waitstaff and bartenders and or owners, oh and other regulars. this makes the place more comfortable. next you gotta know how to take care of the staff, cause like in most places they wont notice you if your cheap. so dont be cheap, and that probably reflects on the people that get to sing more often than others. so if your waiting forever to sing... tip!! like most bars/clubs, your paying and tipping for atmosphere and service, that most likely your not getting at home, and if you are.... stay home!
oh, and dont go just for the sushi, if you want sushi go to uptown sushi, or something like that.
