About decade ago, my friend and vet, Lora Pigott, recommended Dr. Simmons to me when she sold her practice. She told me I would do well with him because he is an excellent & caring vet, has plenty of common sense, and wouldn't "treat me like an idiot" as some highly educated professionals are wont to do. She was right: We still bring our pets to him for all their care even though we moved out into Blanco County in 2003.
Pros: Excellent care at reasonable cost.
Cons: None.
