My girlfriend and I heard about the wine setup here and thought it would be nice to do some tastings and grab a bite to eat. We went arount 8 pm. There were quite a few people eating and we liked the decor. Since we knew we were going to do quite a few small tastings we thought it best to sit at bar. Too our surprise the bar was quite small and only sits maybe 6 people. We ordered a salad, the skewers, and some pot stickers then started ordering some one and two ounce tastings. Our bartender/server was not very personable, never smiled all night and seemed a bit put out by our small pours. The wines were fresh and the selection not bad but we felt the whites were served a little too cold. The salad and pot stickers were very good. The skewers were'nt bad but were so heavenly marinated that it was hard to tell the difference between the pork, chicken, beef, and lamb. Around 9:15 the place pretty much cleared out and the entire staff went into close mode(they close at 10) - bartender disappeared, every one was scrubbing and mopping floors - and they were using fantastico - which is very strong and completely through the rest of our tastings off. They should really be carefull about this is someone is drinking wine. We will definately come do another tasting and try a few more menu items but we will make sure its well b4 closing time. Hopefull our server will be a bit friendlier.
