Review content:
I was somewhat surprised because I had been to Rob Cary years ago and the staff was very friendly and acted as if my pooch was the only dog in the room. However, when I recently took my dog in for grooming, I was very disappointed. I was greeted by silence by four people that were behind the desk (one on the phone and the other three chatting amongst themselves. After approximately 3 minutes, they finally asked why I was there (no smile, no enthusiasm...nothing. As if I should be grateful they were helping me!!) and immediately came and took my dog away, didn't say anything to her or me, just led her away. I stood there a little dumbfounded, registered her and while walking out the door, I thought I should turn around and go get her. My bad. I dropped her off at 8:35 am (I called two times betwen 1:00 and 2:30 to find out the status) and wasn't called until 3:10 to come pick her up. All she needed was a bath and trim. To the owner/manager - I'm sorry but if you are in the "pet friendly" business, then YOU NEED TO BE FRIENDLY!! You need to treat your customers as if their dog is the prettiest, cutest, etc. dog you've ever seen. It's not rocket science. Maybe you should get rid of the teenagers and hire a more mature, competent staff that loves to be around animals and people. Just a suggestion.
