I have been going to kobe in Fort O since they opened 2 years ago. I have always love my experiance there. UNTIL TONIGHT. The meal was wonderful the chef and the waitress did their best to make it a very nice experiance. I have been going to work and raving about how good it is to my co-workers so much that they wanted to go. So we went tonight. They drove up from Dalton just to eat there when there is a simular place in Dalton we could have went to and had a better experiance. It is the end of the meal and we have our to-go boxes and are just waiting on the waitress to bring us our credit cards back so we can sign the reciept and leave the tip. The other people at our table paid in cash and had already left. A man walks to our table and tells us to hurry up there are people waiting and we needed to hurry. We tried telling him we were just waiting on the waitress and then we would leave. He wouldn't listen to a word we had to say just kept repeating himself... First of all that was very rude of him to even try rushing us. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS HIS STAFF HOLDING US UP!!!!! Well it took the waitress about 5 more minutes before she came to give us our reciepts. As we were leaving I asked to speak to a manager cause the service we recieved at the end was uncalled for. I am usually not the type of person to say anything I just let it roll off my back. But... This rubbed me the wrong way. When I saw that the manager was the same man that came to our table telling us to hurry he had other people waiting and we needed to hurry. I got furious. I told him that we didn't appreciate being told to hurry so he could seat other people when it was the waitress holding us up. We weren't sitting there for our health we were there for a reason and it ws rude of him to tell us we needed to hurry and leave so he could fill that table again. All he said to me was ok,ok,ok,ok,ok,ok,ok,ok,ok,ok,ok... He didn't even try to appologize for his actions he didn't even try to listen to what I had to say. He just wanted me out of there so he could fill the table I was sitting at. Now I don't feel this is a way of doing business. If I treated my customers like that where I worked I would be fired. I understand that the customer is not always right but they are still the customer. And tonight I was right. I didn't deserve to be treated that way. And I wasn't treated like a paying customer. Needless to say I didn't take it out on the waitress. She did her job well and the cook did too. But the management there was awful and for that I WILL NEVER RETURN to KOBE in Fort O. I speak for my co-workers when I say this as well. We will go to Showgun, Kampi Tokyo or Fugi the next time we want hibachi. It is sad how one person can ruin a place you love to go eat all because he didn't bother to listen or appologize for his actions. So do I recomend this place as of March 17, 2011 NO I DON'T... There are other places that treat you like a customer not a # in a line and they even more busy than it was tonight. If the food is good and the service is good it is worth the wait. I have waited over an hour to eat at places cause it is worth the wait. But I have never been rushed from a place becuase they couldn't wait 5 more minutes for the waitress to finish up with us. I am discusted at the MANAGEMENTS behavior.
