Review content:
I made an appt 2 months in advance and was told a Marlene was doing a formal hair do and makeup for a wedding at 10am. I showed up on time and had to wait nearly 37 minutes to find out that Marlene and a bunch of other girls quit to work elsewhere and a new girl, Danielle, was now in charge of my appt. Danielle was nice but clearly unable to handle my thick, long hair. I had to add several bobby pins in as soon as I left the salon and the curls were not sprayed enough and looked frizzy. Danielle didn't even know she had to do my makeup until I told her and she did a horrible job. I asked for a smokey eye and fake lashes. She globbed on a mess of charcoal eyeshadow on my entire upper lid, using NO skill whatsoever. She didn't put any eyeliner on me and failed to cover my dark circles under my eyes, and the blush was applied way too low near my jaw line! And she didn't even put mascara on my lower lashes. I was in such a rush because she was 37 minutes late starting me, that I didn't realize how bad the makeup was till I got in the car. Nearly in tears and 110$ poorer, I almost missed the ceremony. The only thing she did right was put the fake lashes on. I have never heard of a makeup artist not putting eyeliner on a client. Hello isn't that included in a formal makeup session!?!? Clearly Sakora threw me at a rookie stylist and a late one at that. Never going back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$ OR TIME!
