I stumbled upon Dyanna spa one day after work when I was getting ready to go meet a guy I've been dating who was out of town for a while, and so desperately needed a quick glam up to be on my A game for the date. Freaking out that I had an hour to prepare- i.e. get wax, manicure, pedicure, etc., I didn't have time to go to my regular place in Brooklyn that I usually go to which has very low prices and so was about to give in to Manhattan prices, when I stumbled upon Dyanna spa on the web.. their location was right near my job and their prices were incredible- almost the same as what I pay at my Brooklyn spa! I had little time to think, so I called to book an appointment and the lady on the phone was very pleasant and helpful saying she'll clear up some things so I can come in 30 minutes. Right after work I ran over to Dyanna and was almost immediately introduced to the lady who would be giving me my bikini wax, Mila. She was super sweet and though I'm a sucker for pain and really just can't deal with it, closed my eyes and let her go at it... to my surprise it wasn't even half as bad as what I was used to and over before I knew it. Mila was SO thorough that I didn't even know that was possible with a brazilian bikini waxing... usually I get at least a few hairs left over but not this time... smooth as a baby! After the wax, Mila led me to the back pedicure chairs to take care of the feet and then last my nails. Normally, I think a mani / pedi is just that- a mani/ pedi... but here I am 1.5 weeks later and completely in awe! My regular manicure is still pretty much intact, making this the most long lasting manicure.. of... umm.. ALL TIME. Needless to say, I won't be going back to my little Brooklyn spa any longer, Dyanna spa is not only convenient and cost effective but also beyond efficient and leave amazing results. AMAZING FIND! Best deals in New York on Waxing, Manicures and Pedicures Hands Down.
