Businiess name:  Lavande Nail Spa
Review by:  Grace L.
Review content:
There are many things I'd do for a smooth feet and perfectly polished nails, but risking some flesh-eating bacteria disease in a sweatshop like environment are not on the list. With its airy interiors and French country antiques (the Santana Row location doesn't hurt either), Lavande Nail Spa makes you feel like you're in Provence, not some drab strip mall. In other words, you're really being pampered. But you don't have to pay $40-50 like at other posh salons in the South Bay. A basic pedi costs $25! Lavande has a dozen or so pedicure stations, where a businesslike esthetician will soak your feet in cucumber scented water and get down to business. The polishes are all Essie and OPI and are all current, stylish colors like deep reds and sheer pink and beige. Walk-ins are usually available M-F, but appt. necessary for the weekends. Aside from manis and pedis, Lavande also has facials and massages. I'll have to try them next time. This review is for the Santana Row location, but Lavande also has two shops in San Francisco.
