On behalf of Friends of Houston Boychoir, Inc. and chorister Mario Doval-Garcia, I thank you for advertising in this year's Houston Boychoir Spring Concert Program. Your patronage is important and makes it possible for us to support the ongoing mission of the Houston Boychoir to create men of tomorrow from boys of today. 'Friends' sponsors and underwrites the all the costs of performance opportunity for our boys to represent the great city of Houston locally, nationally and internationally. These opportunities are an essential part of the Houston Boychoir experience. Through these public experiences and journeys, our boys develop confidence, self-discipline, leadership skills and personal potential. Exposure to other cities and lands alows them to encounter cultural diversity and history first-hand as they share their gifts of music. Most of all, each boy learns to look outside himself and realize he is part of something special and bigger than himself. All of this is only possible because of you. Friends of Houston Boychoir, Inc. is a non-profit 501c(3) organization primarily made up of parents and other 'Friends' who volunteer their time and expertise throughout the year for the benefit of our boys. Welcome into our community of support. I personally invite you to our Spring Concert at Moores Opera House on the University of Houston central campus at Four O'clock in the afternoon this Sunday, the 15th of May.
