Last night I went to the gotham with 3 friends to celebrate my birthday. It was our first time there and dispite the not so good reviews we decided to give it a chance. Our first interaction with "one of our waitresses" was not so welcoming. It really bothered me that they needed to know over the phone if we had a restarauntcom gift certificate and then brought it up again when we first sat down. It seems like if you have a coupon you get treated like crap. They know they will be getting 18% gratuity so they dont even try. I cant say that all of our waitresses were unfriendly but one of them wouldnt even crack a smile. Not the kind of service I expect when spending that kind of money. Even though the food was pretty good we wont be returing to this restaraunt and wouldnt recommend it to others.
