My husband and I went on our wedding night. Food was OK, service was OK. A small issue with our credit card led the owner to our table to literally berate us. I have never been treated so poorly or so rudely in any restaurant anywhere. He ruined what was supposed to have been our most special night...I left in tears. Miserable, awful experience. Best part? When we got the credit card bill, Newport's had charged us TWICE. Calls to the restaurant to settle the matter were met with hostility and total lack of cooperation. Seriously, the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I will never return.
Pros: Cool aesthetics.
Cons: The owner. The way they treat their customers. Nothing can make up for this.
