I went to Sierra Smiles when it opened in Auburn in 2009. I have never had any dental issues. I had 7 cavities when I was 18 years old and I'm know 55yrs and have only had cleaning going forward. When Dr. Mark Brown informed me I had periodontal disease, I was speechless. I was told I could not have my cleaning until the periodontal was taken care of. Dr. Brown sent someone in from the billing department to go over the prices (which were outrageous). I was very upset and told the person I was not going to have the procedure done as I knew I did not have this problem. I walked out of that office as fast as I could. I've been to a dentist since and was told I only needed a cleaning and had no other problems. I was also told I had health gums and teeth. They should be ashamed of the way they do business, preying on innocent people. The rating to me is a zero, but given I had to rate at one before continuing.
