This place is an awesome place to eat, excellent mexican food period. Label it how you will, you owe it to yourself to try this place. Yeah, the atmosphere is pretty and really awesome and cool, but I mainly go to a restaurant for the food. Yes its a great place to take a date or the birfday boy or girl on your list, but go for an incredible dining experience. I have never felt compelled to write a review for a restaurant, but I want this place to prosper and stay in Austin. I grew up on authentic mexican food. My mom was from New Mexico so we had lots of dishes with green chilie and enchiladas and tamales with authentic chile colorado (red chile for you gringos). I wont tell her but their chile rellenos and sante fe enchiladas are just like momma used to make them and taste almost exactly the same. (The love she put into it aint available for sale to restaurants) So go check this place out, it'll put a smile on your face! Pros: Excellent food! Cons: Foods so good you'll tell your momma!
