Review content:
Four of us went to Spotlight Karaoke last night, having never been there. We were absolutely not regulars, but the service was incredible!! It was a little daunting at first; all the tables had 'reserved' signs on them so we sat at the bar. We'd been there for about five minutes before Mr. Lee grabbed us and gave us a nice table up front. Yes, he gets up on stage and sings when he wants to... but so what!! It's his place, and he's very entertaining when he's up there. A lot of people get up and mumble, so you can't even hear them. He's really good, and does a great Frank Sinatra, as another reviewer mentioned. THERE WAS NO COVER. As for the two drink minimum, I don't know if they actually enforce that, but our table had no problem. We had about 5 - 6 rounds. I think the drink rule is a good idea; we saw a table of ten with about three drinks on the table.
I almost didn't go due to the couple bad reviews, but I'm glad I didn't listen to them. Great fun, good sushi! I can't wait to go back.
Pros: Good parking, nice atmosphere, owner is great!
Cons: From the outside it looks so-so, but the inside is fantastic.
