Businiess name:  Puppy Camp-Doggie Day Care

Review content:
I recently visited puppy camp and was astounded at what I saw. I had high hopes for the facilities but the way these dogs are kept all day is NOT OKAY. Dogs love interaction with humans & other dogs, especially when it is a structured environment. There is ABSOLUTELY NO STRUCTURE AT PUPPY CAMP. When interacting with each other dogs should be separated in to proper "play groups" according to their behavior, size and any aggression issues. You cannot throw 75+ dogs into a large room together of all sizes and temperments and expect a positive result. I would NEVER leave my dog here for the day even if I had no other choice. The price may be right but this does not mean the quality of the service is up to par. I would consider myself rather knowledgable as far as dog behavior, health and socialization because of my previous employment and experience with all of these areas. I did not feel safe interacting with the dogs at the "camp" nor do I agree with the method of SCREAMING to end dog fights that could have been prevented in the first place. I saw at least one injured dog during my visit. I will say this, the staff are VERY nice & seemed knowledgeable but they are obviously CUTTING CORNERS for a quick buck. I say pay the extra money to have your dog taken care of and socialized properly somewhere else. Pros: Friendly Staff/Clean facilities Cons: Do not feel it is a safe environment for humans OR dogs
