I would recommend you seriously consider another pool company. We are still in the process of the construction on our pool with Shasta. It took them over 30 days just to come dig the whole once they had received the proper licenses, it has been almost 30 days since they dug the whole and we are about 50% through the process. If you use them make sure you contract for a different payment cycle if your paying cash, as I have paid 95% of the money for 50% of the work, now it appears things are slowing down. They hardly show up when they say they are going to and have yet to complete the work in a week they said they would, on top of that they use the excuse that its "construction" yet I have never seen one person do any work on Saturday and many afternoons (in reasonable weather) go un-worked. Apparently home builders are real construction people and pool builders use bankers hours. They have changed account reps or construction supervisors on several occasions. The accounting department, scheduling desk and site supervisor never seem to communicate and all of the above seem to blame the other for the latest delay. I don't think its that they are not interested in displaying a good experience for their customers, I believe they are incapable of it! Poorly organized and managed! I will continue to update this page through out the process and I hope I am able to report back an improved rating for them.
