I loved the food(with the exception of the macaroni salad-it was bland
need some seasoning). My girlfriend has been looking for authentic
Hawaiian food. Well we saw the restaurant on " Check Please" one night
and that that was all she wrote. We already planned to go to Chicago.
I had the Mahi Mahi shrimp, and she had the Chicken Katsu. We loved it.
The fish and shrimp was so tender. The chicken Katsu is authentic and
it taste nothing like teriyaki. I loved it. I would recommend this place to
anyone who wants down-home Hawaiian food. ( My girlfriend grew up in
Hawaii that how I know that it's real Hawaiian food).
