My wife and I scheduled appointments for the same day. Dr. Hansen's office called us the day before to confirm our appointment. We took time off from our very busy schedules at work, and when we showed up her office was completely locked.
No one answered the phones in her office, and no one called to notify us that there was a rescheduling. We waited almost one hour for someone to show up, but no one ever did.
The following day, I called her office to receive an explanation, but no one answered the phone. When I was finally able to get a hold of someone (a few days later), they explained that Dr. Hansen had an emergency and had to cancel.
They said they must have "had the wrong number on file", because they tried to call. I told them this was completely false, since they had called us the day prior to the appointment to confirm. The least they could have done was leave a message to tell us (they never did).
This is not any criticism of Dr. Hansen as a practitioner (we wouldn't know, since we didn't receive any care from her), but she definitely needs to hire better people in her office. Our time is just as valuable as hers.
