I paid $36 for a hand wax on New Years Eve. I have paid $19 for basic car washes that were FAR BETTER than this car detail. There were chunks of wax stuck to the car, the interior of the car was not wiped-down, and the attendant lied about the fact that air freshener had been sprayed in the car (when I confronted him, he eventually admitted that he had "forgotten"). First, I complained to the car wash manager, who examined the car. He and the attendant argued in Spanish. Eventually, I left the car wash in disgust. I returned home and called the car wash to speak with the general manager. He was even less helpful. He asked me to bring the car back to the car wash so that he could look at it. It is NEW YEARS EVE and I do not have time. He then asked me, "What would you like me to do?" Finally, I advised him that I would contact the owner. The general manager said, "I am the general manager and the owner." I told him that I would simply find another car wash. He said, "Fine" and hung up.
