When we recently visited Z Tejas I was very impressed with the presentation of the food. While most restaurants just throw your food onto a plate they went to the trouble to make the plates look like works of art. Of the three entrées that my family ordered two were excellent, but my daughter's meal was less than satisfactory. It might have been their own special touch that was added to this meal that made it taste different than what was expected. Overall the experience was a good one and I am sure we will visit them again.
