I've been very patient with Kelly Autobody, but at some point they kept my car so long that the insurance company said they would stop paying for the rental car I was using.
Every single time I called the shop, they would delay the estimate. I told them the situation, and that every day they kept the car I was losing money. They didn't seem to care and tried to assure me that the insurance was going to pay for rental, which wasn't the case.
The last week, they gave me an estimate that the car would be finished on a Tuesday (it needed paint). That meant another hundred dollars for me. I got pissed over the phone.
Then I arrived on that day, the guy told me that he wasn't happy about my attitude on the phone. He said I could get the car, but it has no trunk, and that now I'd have to wait until Friday.
NOW WHEN A SHOP IS USING YOUR CAR AS A HOSTAGE SO YOU DON'T COMPLAIN TO THEM, YOU KNOW YOU'VE MADE A REALLY BIG MISTAKE!
