I have eaten at numerous Greek, Lebanese, Turkish, Egyptian, and other Mediterranean restaurants throughout the US. Aladdin's was one of the best. I had the shwarma (kind of like a gyro) and my coworker had the chicken shwarma. Both of us loved the meal. The shwarma is lamb and beef strips sauteed with onions and peppers and put into a thin pita (made fresh there as well). It is then topped with a yogurt sauce which is much more flavorful than any Greek yogurt sauce I have ever had. It comes with a salad and all for $6.50 (as of May 2007). The restaurant also has nice decor and there was Egyptian music playing from the speakers when we went for lunch on a weekday. My only regret is that I did not save room for the bird's nest dessert. It sounded really good and its been excellent in other places I have had it.
