When I signed up, the computers were down (and for several days thereafter) so I never was given any written information on what I signed up for. Because I was going on a cruise in approx. a month, I got a 2 expensive package-over $100 (yes, I was stupid) I explained that I could not use any of the lotions they had (been trying to sell me) because of allergies to the main ingredient in all of the lotion(shea butter). After the first time I was there, using the lowest level of tanning bed, my skin felt sunburned and very irritated. I figured I was just there too long, but it was an odd feeling. I mentioned it before my next session, at a higher level of intensity, and they really didn't pay any attention. As I was in the bed, it felt REALLY hot to my skin and I complained, was unable to finish, and went home in serious pain, felt as if fire ants were eating me alive-all over. A shower didn't help, lotion didn't help. I had a severe allergic reaction to what I believe was the cleaning liquid used on the beds. The more intense heating and longer time in the bed exacerbated the more mild discomfort of my first visit. When I realized I would not be able to use the salon, I asked for a refund which was denied. I was told I could take out the prorated value in 'product', which I had already stated I was allergic to. I was told by the manager that she would contact the owner and call me back. She never did. I contacted her several times and never had a returned call from her. I stupidly dropped it, as I was busy and had other things going on at the time. This happened in March 2006. The manager had long reddish hair and freckles. I would not recommend this place of business.
