We stopped at Thomas Jefferson's home Monticello recently.WOW! The home and plantation of Thomas Jefferson was marvelously restored. We were taken to the top of the mountain on a shuttle bus and were given a 45 min tour of the house by a guide. Thomas Jefferson was an astute person and had a very curious mind. We then took a tour of the lovely gardens...very large and very well marked. Mulberry Row also showed the slave life on the plantation. Plan on spending 3-4 hours there.
