Having driven over a hundred miles to get to Lalibela Restaurant I was hoping this would be a great experience. I was not disappointed. The proprietor is a quiet but hospitable host. The food was perfection. The spongy bread called injira was just what I had been looking for and the various dishes served on a platter of the injira were perfection. A nice mixture of spices and textures. While I lunched alone this time, I hope to bring others next time as the nature of dining on Ethiopian food is communal where everyone shares from the platters of food. You can even get Ethiopian beers if you want to try an exotic brew or two. This little restaurant is a treasure. Ethiopian restaurants are hard to find in the U.S., so give them a try to keep this treasure in Sioux Falls. I know that I will be back as often as I can.
