The other reviewer mentioned cable TV, fireplaces, and private bathrooms for all of the rooms, and that's all true. But if you have a laptop, you'll also be interested to know that they have free high speed Internet access for guests. You can plug in with an ethernet cable, and they have wireless too. The McKinney Trolley has a stop that is not even a block away, so you can jump on that and go up and down McKinney Avenue for free. But you are also within walking distance of literally dozens and dozens of restaurants, bars and shops. Avanti is on the same street. Then there's an Uptown Starbucks that's close, Chipotle, Tin Star, Baker Brother's, East Wind and a ton of other places. Uptown is just about the only pedestrian friendly neighborhood in Dallas, so it's kind of cool to stay there and be able to walk around. I enjoyed my stay there. It wasn't an "old lady style" bed and breakfast with five million knick knacks that you are worried about breaking. It is classier and seems more professional than one of those kinds of places. more
