ShopRite used to be a great store. I used to buy everything from there, even items that weren't on sale. But now I am only going there for the sales and "loss leaders." Wegmans recently opened up, albeit a bit farther away from my house, and I prefer their policy of every day consistent low prices. The service at ShopRite leaves something to be desired. They treat you like a crook when you ask for a raincheck or a price adjustment if something scanned wrong. They always make pricing errors- never in your favor. It's like every time I go there, something goes wrong. Like the grapes I buy ring up at the wrong price. Or the item marked on sale doesn't scan that way. Lately this doesn't happen so much, but it is still a pain. In addition, they don't open up enough checkouts. The only time they aren't like a zoo is nighttime. ShopRite is the type of store that's so crazy inside, you have to spend like an hour there. They aren't convenient at all. And their interior is cheap feeling- unlike Wegmans and Genuardi's. I must admit that their sale prices are very good, though the regular prices aren't so much.
In fact their parking lot reminds me of that at the King of Prussia Mall. It's a mess, with lots of shoppers. However, the perishables are very fresh since with so many customers, they are always restocking. This ShopRite is next to Kohl's by the Marlton Circle. It's okay, but I think the other ShopRites are better.
