When you want to take a prospective client or important business associate out to lunch, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. This story is almost too incredible to be true, but I assure you, it IS. This is the first time I've ever felt motivated to write one of these reviews. So read carefully and disregard this at your own peril: At a business lunch this week, celebrating an associate's birthday, a group of four of us had to wait for an hour sitting at the table before we were able to give our order. When the waitress finally came to the table, she almost seemed to infer that it was our fault that she was so busy. When we mentioned we were in a rush, she let out a loud huffy sigh and stomped off. When she didn't come back, we began to wonder - is she avoiding us on purpose now? We should have gotten up and left by this time, but we'd already been there for an hour, and were entertaining an important guest to the studio. Finally we were able to flag down another waitress and asked her if we could place our lunch order. She went to alert our waitress who almost yelled "I REFUSE to wait on them." So she came back and took our orders. Feeling a little embarrassed at this point, we asked to speak to the manager. Although he apologized, he didn't seem very sincere. He made some excuses, and dashed off. When the bill came, it was for the full amount. They did not give any discount - not even a free desert for the inconvenience. Finally at the end of the meal, as we were leaving, the waitress called out across the dining room: "I hope you enjoyed your salads!!" My business associate innocently replied "Oh yes, they were fine!" to which the waitress responded: "I'll never wait on you again!" And with that, we left the restaurant, feeling quite strange, and wondering just what we had to deserve to be treated in this manner.
