I have always heard good things about Sleepys http://www.sleepys.com/ so when my mom called to say the bought me an early present that would be delivered in a week I was confident that everything would go as planned.
Boy was I mistaken. I did not go with my parents so I had no idea what the set was supposed to look like, so when they guy made the delivery I signed the papers and he was on his way. Later that night my parents showed up, to take me to dinner, yeah right more like to see what the bought me, and my mom starts complaining that she does not like the box spring.
She checked her paper work and told me I had the wrong box spring and that she was calling to have it exchanged. Ok mom whatever you paid for it, if that makes you happy you do that.
Four days later they were supposed to make the correct delivery between 9 am and 1 pm. At 1:30 pm I had waited long enough and called Sleepys. Some rude woman answered the phone and when I told her that I had been waiting and they still have not shown up nor called I was told well listen lady it is a four hour window they work it. She was not too happy when I responded with " No you listen lady then window was up over thirty minutes ago now and that is why I am calling" She then told me that she did not know where they were but that there is a huge accident in front of their store.
"So, what they are not at your store so why are you trying to give me that excuse I need to go out so you need to put me on the phone with a manager so I can reschedule" I told her. But she seemed not to be able to do that because no manager was working that day. I was not buying that excuse though.
When the delivery, guys did show up over two hours late, they could not find the box spring. Finally they found it but had to inform me that it was ripped and stained. I refused to take it.
After another six phone calls and talking to at least ten different people I finally got the delivery today. The man even called at ten of one to tell me he would be late because he wanted to stop to pick up, not eat, his lunch. I think he was a bit surprised when I laughed and said " OK as long as you pick me up some fries".
All I have been thinking about this entire thing is, all this drama because my mom did not like the fabric on the box spring.
