We've eaten at OG on many occasions. Today it was for lunch with my Grandmother for my birthday.
We got there around 1:30 and we still had about a 15 minute wait for a table. They were busy yet. But it is Christmas season so many weary shoppers were probably getting a late lunch too.
On today's meal was:
Chicken strips and pizza (for my 2 daughters)
Minestrone soup for my grandmother
Steak Gorgonzola-Alfredo for me
For the life of me, I can't remember what my wife ordered. I know it was a pasta dish (does that narrow it down or WHAT?)
I know my daughters loved their meals, they ate real well.
My wife later mentioned that she wished she would have been more careful on what she ordered since she needs to be mindful of the balance of her intake.
I heard no complaints from my grandmother, so I KNOW she liked her soup.
With my Steak Gorgonzola, I loved the steak. But did not care for the rest of the dish. I was feeling adventurous since it was my birthday and ordered something I hadn't gotten before.
We have received top notch service at OG in the past, so we were a little disappointed with the server we had today. Oh he was attentive and helpful, but still not the caliber of server we've been spoiled with previously.
Also on our check we got the chance to answer their survey and get $4 off our next meal. Great!
Our only complaint with the delivery of the check was the manager person who brought it basically threw the mints on the table.
This is not the caliber of service that we have experienced many times in the history of dining at OG, so I know we will be answering this survey to convey our opinions to OG too.
Don't let our experience shy you away from OG. They have great food and a nice atmosphere. Your experience has a high likelihood of being top notch.
Check out their web site not only for the nearest location to you, but also their menu is online as well.
