On a crazy, festive night when you and a group of friends want to hunker down in a club and do some serious but trendy/festive drinking, head over to Skylark in the heart of the 16th street nightlife nexus. Here’s the thing: I really hate going to Skylark. It gets soooo crowded, the music is loud. Not my kind of place to socialize, have a conversation, be comfortable, so on and so forth. HOWEVER, if you get there early enough, you can grab a booth. Off the top of my head I can’t remember if there’s 1 or 2, but either way, it's exclusive property that gets colonized fast. If you can pin one of these baby’s down, they’re really big and you cram a bunch of folks in there and wow, it’s so much fun to be in the Skylark yukkin’ it up in close but intimate quaters with your pals.. But to get pushed and jostled around and hardly be able to be heard over the din… not my thing.
