I'm not a breakfast lover, but you can get me to Wild Mountain Cafe for breakfast any time. It's a caloric splurge that's well worth it. And they make fabulous Bloody Marys too. Other meals there are big and tasty and have a flair, but breakfast is what they do best. Ask to sit in the back room or in the bar if you want to avoid the crowds waiting by the door, especially in the cold, wet, winter months. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and comforting.
