Borders is a great place to read and to browse. They have an overpriced coffee shop in the store and they encourage customers to sample the music via headphones. However, when it comes to actually buying a book, you can do a lot better online. My recommendation is to stop by Borders to sample a book that you are interested in, I occasionally even sit and read an entire book there, but unless you plan on returning it after finishing it, don’t ever buy anything at Borders. It serves as a sort of yuppie library, and I realize that someone needs to buy something in order for it to stay in business, but it shouldn’t be you. Enjoy the books and the quiet, but pass on the purchase.
