We went to the Texas Roadhouse after hearing that they had good food. However I was disappointed in the food. The atmosphere is chaotic, it is loud. The music is turned way up and the wait staff do a lot of yelling. I know this is suppose to be part of the charm of the Texas Roadhouse, but they just need to turn the music down a tad. My son enjoyed eating the complimentary peanuts and throwing the shells on the floor. He was amazed that he was allowed to make a mess. I ordered a steak dish and was just not impressed. It was just ok, nothing spectacular. The mashed potatoes were good, but overall I could get the same meal at Outback and have a much more pleasant dining experience.
