I'd been to a PF Changs resturant previously in San Diego. I thought it was the best Chinese food I had ever had. So I was doubly pleased when I heard one was opening up here in Boise. I think the excitement of the resturant has finally died down so the waits are minimal and the waitstaff is less harried. My original experience at the Boise location was unpleasant for that reason. I'd like to think they have improved in that area.
I would recommend the specialty ribs they have available as an appetizer. The meat is so tender is practically melts and the sauce is a nice combination of sweet and spicy. This place will cost you a pretty penny but it's worth it to have non-greasy, flavorful Chinese fare.
They also offer a full bar with all kinds of frou frou
drinks. But a small pot of tea is inexpensive and just as well completes the experience.
