My son's playgroup went on a tour of the San Francisco Airport and on the tour they showed us this hidden gem. It is a non-circulating library (though pilots, airport and the general public can read the air travel related books and periodicals) but it has a huge globe that the kids really liked. It is a two story large room that is a replica of what the airport looked like in the '30s and it's gorgeous (a few of us dads asked if they did private functions there - they don't because it would be a great place for a party, shucks). There are pictures on the wall and when we there, there was an exhibit on flight crew fashions through the years.
