An East Village staple,Takahachi has managed to go from being great to almost crappy and back to great again!!! Whether you order from the kitchen or the sushi bar you're bound to get some really good food.Among my favorites is the crab shumai (which is made on premise,not frozen!) made with lump crab meat and served with a nasal clearing mustard.Reasonable prices and an ever-changing specials menu makes me want to go there everyday.
