Elaine's bakery is quite inexpensive and quite good. You can pick up a baguette or be a bit more adventurous and try the kind of pastries you know you're not likely to run into again in Utah Valley. For about $5 we picked up a loaf bread, a decadent pastry, and a bag of freshly baked madelines. Yum. Also, it never hurts to support a locally-owned, family-run business. The location is not ideal (hidden away on State Street near a big and tall shop with a pawn shop and army surplus place just a few doors up, but parking is no problem.
