Good food, but not so good service 12/30/2010

Their food might be indeed very good, but the costumer service is awful. The servant insisted in asking me things about my personal life (if I was married, where my husband was, etc). When I went to communicate that I wasn’t satisfied with the order I placed (the baguettes were small for what I wanted and ordered), he went nuts, and started to yell and call names in front of other costumers. It was the most embarrassing situation ever, and I will NEVER come back to this place. more

Waiting to be discovered 4/5/2006

Elaine's bakery is quite inexpensive and quite good. You can pick up a baguette or be a bit more adventurous and try the kind of pastries you know you're not likely to run into again in Utah Valley. For about $5 we picked up a loaf bread, a decadent pastry, and a bag of freshly baked madelines. Yum. Also, it never hurts to support a locally-owned, family-run business. The location is not ideal (hidden away on State Street near a big and tall shop with a pawn shop and army surplus place just a few doors up, but parking is no problem. more

Best Lunch in Utah Valley 8/15/2005

Eliane's bakery is fairly new but I think has the potential of being Orem's best deal if and when they get discovered. I have never had a better sandwich than I have at that place. for $3.60 + tax, you get a baguette site sandwich with any meat, veggie and dressing. It may not sound spectacular but try one and you'll never go to any other sandwich shop ever again. This place has great service and is family owned. It is a bakery and has amazing breads and cakes as well. more
