Comfort Inn 10/26/2006

I recently went on vacation with my husband and son to Asheboro, North Carolina to visit the 3rd largest zoo in the country and we stayed at the Comfort Inn at Asheboro. While the town was quite small, this hotel was in a good location that was high on a hill in the center of the town over looking everything. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly man who also had a large assortment of brochures for the area and also offered us tickets to the zoo at a discounted rate. I love saving money! Walking to our room we passed an employee who greeted us with a hello and a smile which was nice. When we walked into our room i was pleased. It was very clean and stocked well with towels, washcloths, toilet paper, and mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The bedding was clean and the beds were quite comfortable. The rooms are stocked with a fridge and a tv that has free HBO. When we woke in the morning we headed down to the lobby to the complimentary breakfast expecting coffee and donuts but saw much more to our surprise. They offered bagels, muffins, Belgian waffles, and much more to eat. And coffee, juices, and water to drink. This was a great hotel that was inexpensive ($56 a night!!) and we would gladly stay there again. more
