The idea of Metrocenter Academy is to help "at risk" kids graduate high school. It seems like they help people who have dropped out of school get back to learning or if you have to take time off high school due to pregnancy then you can complete things in a more flexible way. Most of the instruction is computer based, but they do have at least three full time teachers here. I heard about this place when they were in Christown mall a few years ago. I know someone who goes there and it seems to be a great option for certain kids. There is a limit on how many students they will accept, though.
