The lights of Times Square will lead you here - this section of 42nd Street is still subject to the Neon Lights Required Times Square laws. You can't miss the theater. Although there are 25 screens, there are usually about 10 movies playing here - the bonus is that no matter when you show up, you will probably find a showtime that suits you (if not, there are numerous eating/drinking options on the block to waste time).
They keep this theater fairly clean. Some of the theaters are huge (two levels) and some very small (you will hear everything the guy in the front row whispers to his girlfriend). My problems with AMC 25 is less about the theaters and more about the patrons it attracts - 75% of the movies I have been to here have been interrupted by cell phones and loud conversations. Get a clue, folks! If you want to talk, do it at home in front of your TV and not in a movie theater with people paying nearly $11 per show.
